Yet again, the “Coffee with Kilroy” series has turned its attention to my latest book, in this case The Break System!

He calls it a “crime RPG-ish” game in a “meaty” book that moves beyond traditional choose-your-own-adventure mechanics, incorporating roll-and-write elements, tactical dice rolling, and decision-making to create a robust, rogue-like experience!

He notes that the tutorial story, “The Spring Break” is designed to introduce rules gradually, making it accessible even if players are new to the series.

He shares how much he appreciates systems-based games that allow him to learn a rule set once and apply it across various scenarios, and says he intends to dive deeper into the tutorial in future sessions.

I really appreciate his generosity, including his shout-out about the Operation CanCon holiday special, especially when he’s feeling under the weather.
